Where is the biblical evidence for the "bodily" umption of Mary into heaven?

no. Mary was not as important as the Catholics make her to be. She is not the mother of god or any of that other nonsense. She was a lady in the lineage of David that God chose to give birth to Jesus. There is no evidence in the bible that anyone other than Jesus and two other guys in the old testament were taken up. I believe it became dogma just like a number of other dogmas. such as the pope being representing what he is claimed to represent. or lent, or any number of other things.
