Why can't the San Diego Chargers make it to the SuperBowl with the talent they currently have?

Simply because talent does not always equal championships. Look at the Cowboys, they have one of the most talented teams in the NFL (and although I think they are overrated) they have ability to win games but their talent is not enough to get them over the hump. The Chargers are the same. The Chargers will not a win a championship until they get a coach that is committed to excellence. They haven't had a coach since their last super bowl run in the 1990's that was capable enough to lead their team to victory. Norv Turner is not the right coach, and it shows each season. They will continue to struggle until they get a coach that has the tenacity and discipline to get them to the super bowl. Talent helps, but if you have coaching staffs that are inept, then you will continue on a downward slope. I would love to see Jon Gruden or Bill Cowher take over as coach, then we might be talking super bowl in 2-3 years time. But that is a dream.
